The Samaritan Counseling Center is a registered 501c(3)
tax deductible, non-profit organization. Donations to the Center enables individuals
who are uninsured, underinsured or, have limited financial resources to receive
the Center's services. It is one way for individuals, groups, congregrations,
foundations or businesses to share in the work, values, and mission of the
Center. There are four options for giving.
This fund underwrites the therapy children,
adults, couples and families receive from the Center. It is for those who
cannot afford the Center's standard fee yet want to take advantage of the
services offered. It is available upon request to anyone as funds allow.
Each year gifts are made to the Center
in memory of donors' loved ones. This is an effective method by which
to honor someone's life while at the same time helping those who are currently
in need of support.

Silent Samaritans, Women
of Strength Helping Women In Need, are women who make a $100
contribution or more to the Center so those women with fewer financial
resources can be empowered with the help of counseling. Women tend
to report suffering from depression more than men; are more frequently
victims of abuse; are often single parents and heads-of-households;
and are sometimes financially devasted by divorce. The need for
assistance is substantial. The Silent Samaritan Fund is one way
to help meet this need.

Please write #910351 on your contribution
so that it will be sure to find its way to the Samaritan Counseling Center.
Churches that believe that professional Christian counseling
can make a significant change for an individual, couple or family, can
support the Samaritan Center by joining “The Partnership in Ministry
Program”. This program is a covenant agreement between a congregation
and the Samaritan Center on an annual basis. The Samaritan Center provides
special professional services to congregation and fosters a helping relationship
with their clergy. As an out-reach effort, the Partnership strengthens
and expands a congregation’s ministry in the community. Churches
that want become a Partner In Ministry are asked to contribute $3.00 per
member on a yearly basis. Persons referred by pastors from Partner Churches
are able to have the fees for their first session waived. This often makes
it easier for pastors to make referrals, knowing that the fee for the
evaluation will not become a stumbling block. In addition, the Samaritan
Center will provide educational/seminar time to churches that participate
in this partnership program. For more information about becoming a Partner
in Ministry, call Carl Baughman, Executive Director at 412-741-7430 or
