Virginia Corbett, M.A., L.P.C.
Ginny received her Masters Degree in Christian Marriage and Family Counseling from Geneva College. “The biggest privilege in my professional life is the opportunity to assist individuals as they work to realize their full potential and rebuild broken relationships.” Ginny specializes in working with couples who have lost the zeal for their relationship and forgotten how to work as a team. “We all bring pain and baggage into our relationships and through communication and empathy couples can learn how to change unhealthy patterns and begin to help each other heal rather than inflicting further wounds.” “Therapeutically, I am Systemic and believe that lasting therapeutic change is best accomplished with respect for the power of the family system. However, I enjoy working with motivated individuals and have seen successes using Cognitive Behavioral Techniques. It is wonderful to assist women who are negotiating life’s difficult transitions as they renew dreams and regain self esteem.” Ginny sees clients in our Sewickley, Bakerstown, and Beaver offices and also has administrative duties as Samaritan Counseling’s Associate Director. |
