Partners in Ministry

Partners in Ministry are churches of all denominations that enter into a working partnership with the Samaritan Counseling Center. This partnership benefits the pastor, the congregation, and the mission of the Samaritan Center. This partnership, which includes an annual pledge by the Partner Church, provides the following for congregations:

  • Vouchers for no-cost counseling to be distributed by the pastor. These are used for first-time clients who may be reluctant to seek counseling or have difficulty affording the fee. The number of vouchers provided to a Partner Church is determined based on membership.
  • One hour of educational programming per year at no cost. For examples of the educational programs offered by the staff of the Samaritan Center, please visit our Educational Workshops page.
  • Copies of informational newsletters and handouts with regular updates about the Samaritan Counseling Center’s work or service offerings.
  • Consultation between our professional staff and the pastors of Partner Churches on situations with which they are dealing.

By becoming a Partner in Ministry, congregations agree to support the Samaritan Counseling Center as an extension of their ministry and use the Center as a referral source for counseling, education, and consultation. Partner Churches are an invaluable part of the mission of the Samaritan Counseling Center
