A Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Employee Assistance Professional, Susan is responsible for supervising Samaritan's team of therapists and providing development and oversight of Samaritan’s clinical operations. She also maintains her own client caseload.

​Susan earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Gannon University in Erie, PA and a Bachelor’s in Experimental Psychology from the University of California in Santa Barbara. She is a member of the Employee Assistance Professional Association.
​
​In addition to an impressive career in the behavior health field, Susan is also a talented gourmet cook. In fact, Susan met her husband, Joel, while both were working in the kitchen of the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington D.C.
Their daughter, Claire, currently employed in Seoul, South Korea has given them reason to travel to Asia several times. On their travels they always take a food tour and a cooking class. Recent trips to Vietnam and Thailand have expanded their love for the diversity of Asia’s food.
