Rev. Tega Swann

Rev. Tega Swann is a native of Olomu, an Urhobo-speaking tribe in Southwestern Nigeria. She learned to cook at the age of six by watching her older sisters cook for the family, and since then, has always loved cooking for family and friends.


Although now an American citizen who has lived in the United States for the past twenty-three years, she remains proud of her Nigerian heritage which taught her to appreciate its healthy, wholesome and vegetarian dishes.


Tega will be sharing two vegetarian recipes from the vast array of Nigerian cuisine. Enjoy!
