A Samaritan Workshop for Pastors
Our preaching isn’t reaching the “nones,” “dones,” and “spiritual but not religious.” As a result, our churches are declining more rapidly each year. The words we use, the ways we speak, the styles we employ aren’t working. Why? Because we’re not touching people where they are socially, psychologically, and spiritually.
This three-week pastors' workshop--combining teaching, discussion, and practice--will:
Help you better understand those walking away.
Teach you how to preach in ways that may bring them back.
This workshop, based on extensive research into generational studies, communications, motivational theory, and spirituality, and on his 22 years of experiences of leading a church that attracted many of those who had walked away, is led by Rev. Dr. N. Graham Standish, MSW, executive director of Samaritan Counseling, Guidance, Consulting and its Caring for Clergy and Congregations program.
