Rev. Sarah Robbins
Co-Founder and Instructor of Unglued Church
Rev. Sarah Robbins serves as interim pastor at Glenshaw Presbyterian Church. She is a graduate of Westminster College and Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, where she earned a Master of Divinity and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Upon graduation from seminary, Sarah served in a variety of pastoral roles for Dormont Presbyterian Church from 2010-2015. She aided the congregation in their difficult decision to merge with Wallace Memorial PC to become Unity Presbyterian Church.
After her time there, Sarah worked as a pulpit supply minister until she was called to be the interim pastor at Crossroads Presbyterian Church in Monroeville, serving from 2018-2020. Sarah also worked for Pittsburgh Presbytery by serving on its Committee of Ministry from 2013-2019.
Sarah joined our staff in 2022 and serves as one of the instructors of the Unglued Church program which she and Rev. Susan Rothenberg co-founded in 2013. Sarah and Susan have partnered with churches in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware to help them address their challenges, deeply examine their ministries, and get to know the needs and the people of the communities they serve. They continue to empower churches to develop new strategies to keep moving forward as they implement Unglued Church through Samaritan's Caring for Clergy and Congregations program.
Sarah is married to Rev. Ben Robbins, who is serving as pastor at Northmont Presbyterian Church. They have a young son, Liam.
