“My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space to walk alongside those who suffer and provide them with the tools to live happy and fulfilling lives” - Jenny Richardson

Jenny, who joined Samaritan’s clinical team in June, 2025, will soon begin to counsel children, adolescents, and adults from our Gibsonia and Sewickley offices or via teletherapy.* Jenny utilizes a strengths-based, solution focused, and person-centered approach integrating cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy. She works to help individuals with a wide variety of mental health issues, including anxiety and depression, trauma, adjustment disorders, and specializes in helping parents and individuals with ADHD.

Jenny graduated with her masters in mental health counseling at Franciscan University of Steubenville with a concentration in Trauma and Crisis counseling. She is a part of the prestigious honor society for counselors, Chi Sigma Iota. Previously, she worked as a crisis technician at a residential unit in Ohio and as a mental health counselor at Geneva college campus in Beaver Falls. She was initially raised in Naples, Italy, but has spent much of her early life in Maryland. Jenny enjoys making art, cooking, cuddling with her cat Tish, gaming with her fiancé, and traveling.
