"What I enjoy most about my work is having the opportunity to accompany people on their journey to enhance the strengths they already possess to make the changes they desire to make." - Cathy Natalia

When Cathy joined us in May 2024, she was a student intern completing her practicum and internship requirements under the supervision of Samaritan's clinical director. We are pleased to announce that Cathy has earned her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology degree from Chatham University. As a resident therapist, she counsels people from our Sewickley office.

Cathy follows a person-centered approach to therapy with a focus on client values, strengths, and resilience. She believes the therapeutic alliance involves partnership and collaboration between client and helper to create a safe space for clients to share and reflect without judgement in order to do the work towards therapeutic goals. She is grounded in the mind-body-spirit connection and their collective effect on a person's physical and mental health.

As a believer in counseling as the art and science of personal discovery, Cathy enjoys partnering with her clients through their therapeutic journey.

In her personal life, Cathy enjoys reading, biking, working out, cleaning, pulling weeds, and spending time with family and friends.
