Cathy Natalia
Resident Counseling Intern
Joining us in May, 2024, Cathy is a student intern completing her practicum and internship requirements under the supervision of Samaritan's clinical director, Susan Young. Cathy is pursuing her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology degree from Chatham University.

Cathy follows a person-centered approach to therapy with a focus on client values, strengths, and resilience. She believes the therapeutic alliance involves partnership and collaboration between client and helper to create a safe space for clients to share and reflect without judgement in order to do the work towards therapeutic goals. She is interested in the mind-body-spirit connection and their collective effect on client physical and mental health. Counseling is the art and science of personal discovery, and she is looking forward partnering with clients through their therapeutic journey.

Cathy enjoys reading, biking, working out, cleaning, pulling weeds, and spending time with family and friends.
