Where You'll Find Kaela: Samaritan's Wexford and Sewickley offices in person, as well as virtually.

“I believe that meaningful healing begins with genuine human connection. Every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued, and it is a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they navigate life's challenges, discover their strengths, and create meaningful change. As the saying goes, 'To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world'—a reminder of the profound impact compassion and connection can have.” — Kaela Zingaro

Kaela believes therapy is a collaborative process and tailors treatment to each individual's unique needs, strengths, and personal goals. She works with adolescents and adults at our Wexford and Sewickley offices, as well as virtually, treating them for anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma-related disorders, adjustment difficulties, major life transitions, and more. She utilizes evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and other integrative therapeutic modalities to help her clients build resilience, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Prior to her position at Samaritan, Kaela worked as a therapist at Cranberry Psychological Center and UPMC Western Psychiatric Outpatient Services, performing both individual and group therapy. She also led psychoeducation groups focused on DBT, mindfulness, emotion regulation, and coping skills, and collaborated with psychiatrists, nurses, and treatment teams to coordinate patient care.

Kaela earned a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling and a bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation science from Clarion University School of Education.

Kaela makes her home in Robinson Township in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. When she’s not working, she enjoys cooking, drawing, long walks, listening to music, watching movies, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
