Susan Young

A Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Employee Assistance Professional, Susan Young is Samaritan’s Clinical Director. She is responsible for supervising our team of therapists and providing development and oversight of Samaritan’s clinical operations. Since joining us in 2015, Susan has grown our clinical team and driven counseling session numbers up by 30%. She is responsible for honing processes and protocols, strengthening quality control, and empowering the team with tools, resources, and opportunities to further develop their professional skills. Her efforts have resulted in the growth of a positive workplace culture that allows our team to flourish collaboratively and as individual clinicians. She has also enhanced Samaritan’s internship program. Remarkably, Susan also maintains her own caseload, seeing clients at our Sewickley, Butler, and Zelienople offices.
