“ I seek to help people become the best versions of themselves.” – Lynda Bradley
A Licensed Professional Counselor, Lynda Bradley provides space and time for clients to share life experiences and discover new ways of thinking that lead to better outcomes in life. She has served as a member of our clinical team for over a decade. With an expansive background in the mental health field and specialized training in adult trauma. In addition to trauma Lynda guides clients through challenges with depression, grief, loss, anxiety, disappointment, and unexpected change. Lynda’s experience as a public school teacher and active duty military spouse allows her to combine lived experience with professional training as a therapist into therapy.
Prior to joining Samaritan’s staff, Lynda served as an outpatient therapist in community mental health. Her previous careers were in elementary teaching, adult education, higher education, technology facilitator, and psychological testing as a contract worker for the department of defense. Lynda earned her MA in Counseling from Waynesburg University, PA, and her EDM in Human Services from Boston University.
As a certified Telehealth specialist Lynda offers both virtual and face to face sessions.
Lynda tailors the therapeutic process by collaborating with the client learning from their life experiences. The goal for clients is to go from therapy integrating self into new ways of thinking and living.
On a personal note, Lynda is a wife, mother, and grandmother. She and her husband, a (now retired) former active duty member of the United States Air Force live in Waynesburg, Pa.
Lynda offers this quote to ponder:
“Make every effort to change things you do not like. If you cannot make a change, change the way you have been thinking. You might find a new solution.”
